6-Day Do Dham Itinerary: Step-by-Step

Day 1: Guptkashi | Visit to a temple

  • Early breakfast followed by a drive to Guptkashi. 
  • The journey takes you across the Ganga with nice views all through.
  • Here, you will find the confluence of the Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers at Devprayag.
  • Having lunch in Srinagar (on your own) will fall in the middle of the Garhwal, and later, there will be no option for eating; thus, keep all the essentials here. 
  • Enjoy a view of Rudraprayag and Ukhimath while travelling. 
  • Transport to the hotel will be provided to you on arrival in Guptkashi. 
  • Take a trip to ArdhNarishwar Temple (if time permits). 
  • The day ends with dinner at the hotel and a sleepy night.

Day 2: Guptkashi - Sonprayag - Kedarnath | Visit to Kedarnath Temple

  • You can enjoy the mesmerizing view of the mountains from your bed. 
  • Serve breakfast at the hotel in Guptkashi and transfer to Sonprayag, which is the initial point for the trek temple. 
  • One of the important features of Gauri Kund is that it has warm water which has benevolent properties for skin diseases. During this function, Shiva at last professed the love of Lord Gauri. 
  • Arrive early for the evening aarti in Kedarnath. 
  • After having breakfast, you can make a pilgrimage to the Kedar temple on foot. This will take approximately 19 km and take anywhere from 7-8 hours, depending on your fitness level.

Day 4: Guptkashi to Pipalkothi

  • Travel further towards Pipalkoti after an early morning breakfast. 
  • The divine sight of Ganga will accompany you on your way. 
  • Badrinath obtains its status as a pilgrim town by virtue of being set at the confluence of the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers. 
  • The hotel staff will greet you and check you in. 
  • After dinner, return to your room in the hotel for a good night’s rest.

Day 5: Pipalkothi - Badrinath - Pipalkothi Temple Visit

Day 6: Badrinath to Haridwar | End of Tour

What to Know Before Taking a Group Tour to Do Dham From Haridwar?

  • A minimum booking of 6 people is required. 
  • Each guest must present identification at the time of booking and upon arrival. As proof of address, a PAN card is not accepted.
  • There will be fees for any breakage or damage to the resort’s property.
  • Rates are subject to change in the event of any changes in service or hotel. Any difference in fare will have to be borne by the client in case of a change in the package prior to commencing the tour owing to an increase in the number of guests, changes in the hotel, etc. 
  • Fixourtrip reserves the right to change the itinerary in unforeseen circumstances (weather conditions, political situations, etc.) but without adversely affecting the overall tour. 
  • Children above age eight are considered adults; no charges apply for children below age 8.
  • Entrance fees for stupas, monasteries, sightseeing, state and entry fees for monuments, camera fees, permits, etc., are not covered under this package. 
  • Personal expenses and items are excluded from the package. All meals and transfers are included unless specified otherwise in the itinerary. Aerated water, mineral water, and alcoholic drinks are not included in the package price. 
  • The package price does not include any drinks, such as mineral water, alcoholic beverages, or aerated water. 
  • Swimming pools at any of the accommodations are instructed to be restricted by government regulation. 
  • State guidelines must be adhered to. Social distancing should be maintained. Hand sanitization should be done on a frequent basis, and wearing of masks is advisable. 
  • The displayed price is based on a minimum of 6 in a standard/deluxe/super deluxe room. 
  • The given price of the package is subject to GST. 
  • Our clients are requested to avoid the use of plastic bags at the destination and to maintain ecological balance. People discarding garbage will be fined.
  • The exact location will be informed and sent to you post your confirmation/travel booking. 
  • Remember to take dry snacks/foods – granola bars – from home. Take two water bottles: regular and insulated, for refills. 
  • Package fare excluding international and domestic airfare, visa fee, airport taxes, and insurance coverage.
  • Whenever a request for exit from the trip or possible exit from it arises in between the trip, the costs from then on are to be fully borne by the traveller. Such considerations shall not be borne under any refund by the operator or Fixourtrip.
  • Charges for optional adventure activities, ropeway or cable car would be payable by you.

Confirmation Policy

  • Customers are required to pay 20% of the booking amount (non-refundable) to confirm the booking of the tour package. 
  • Thereafter, the traveller will get a voucher for a cost equivalent to 40% of the package for the subsequent tour booking section. 
  • Then from there, travellers will be required to pay the remaining 40% for the pending booking amount on the day of travel before boarding. 
  • Alternatively, if the desired schedule requested by the customer is not available, we will set up an alternative schedule with a new confirmation voucher. 
  • Even before confirmation, one can cancel the booking and the desired amount will be refunded back to the customers bank account.

Cancellation Policy

  • If cancellation is made more than 30 days before the travel date, 20% of cancellation charges will apply
  • Cancellation made within 20 days before the travel date, the cancellation charges of 50% of travel package will apply
  • If a cancellation is made within 15 days of the departure date 100% of the booking amount will be charged as a cancellation fee.
  • Some tours & activities may be canceled due to unanticipated events, government restrictions, and bad weather. However, feasible alternatives for this situation will be made. Cash refunds are not allowed.

How do we handle refunds?

The refunds would be processed in maximum ten business days after receipt of the Request. In case the refund is allowed after deducting the non refundable booking amount, the balance will be posted to your bank account directly. Our team will take your bank details or UPI ID for a direct refund to your bank account.
